Who is responsible for your information
This site is operated by Flaera, an unincorporated project at 1 Avenue Kanata, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. Questions about your information go to flaerasupport@gmail.com.
What this site collects
The early-access form is the only place this site collects anything about you. When you submit it, we record:
- your email address, both as you typed it and in a lowercased form used to spot duplicates
- the city you entered
- the language of the page you used
- which of the two forms on the page you used
- the date and time you submitted, and the exact wording of the consent you agreed to
That is the whole record. This site does not store your IP address, your browser, or anything about a submission that failed.
Why we collect it
To tell you when Flaera opens, and to keep evidence that you asked us to. Your city helps us decide which places to open in first. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
Three companies process this information on our behalf:
- Cloudflare serves this site and runs the anti-spam check on the form.
- Google stores the list itself, in a private spreadsheet.
- When launch email begins, an email provider will hold your address so it can send to you and handle unsubscribes. We will name it here before that starts.
These providers operate outside Quebec, so your information is stored and processed outside the province, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration until twelve months after Flaera launches. If you unsubscribe we keep a suppression record - your address and the date you asked to be removed - indefinitely so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
Seeing, correcting or deleting what we hold
Write to flaerasupport@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and we will send you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
Deletion is done by hand. Someone removes your row from the spreadsheet; there is no automated pipeline, and we are not going to claim otherwise. We aim to do it within [response time commitment for access and deletion requests — legal].
How it is protected
The list is private to the operator’s own account and is not shared by link. Your browser never talks to the spreadsheet: the form posts to this site, which checks the submission and writes the row itself. Nothing on this site holds a credential for any Flaera product database.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the version and effective date shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects what we do with your information, we will contact you before it takes effect.
